Research activity: The main aim of the group is to study the role of hormones and their metabolites on the physiology and the evolution of the endocrine system, using fish as the main model. The research is directed at three main interrelated themes: 1) Hormonal control of Reproduction and Development; 2) Calcitropic hormones, mineral metabolism and environmental adaptation, 3) Hormones, pheromones and behaviour.
